I know why now he was the one that I related to the most . I had a tough beginning in life and then other experiences that were bad but also made me who I am today. I too am thankful yoongi made it through to be much happier and healthier . Im thankful he trusts us with his most darkest days and I know it was therapeutic for him to share it, but I also know he did it to help anyone struggling to show them it gets better just hang on . I just love him for that. We all need a suga in our lives and we all need BTS in our lives.

Hearing him talk about the accident is one thing, but actually having a visual representation of it felt completely different. I flinched the first time I saw it because it felt so unexpected. I definitely have cried multiple times while watching it, the end gets me every time when he tries to save himself from his own mind and the door just won’t open i’m excited to watch your reaction to the album and the documentary!

I've never had such a visceral reaction to a video before. Retraining the amygdala is so hard and this video perfectly represents that struggle. There are times it thinks it's protecting you based on past experiences, where it's actually getting in the way when in a current situation. For example with me, I was "trained" to believe my anger was too much and scary and people would leave (emotionally or physically) as a result if I expressed it. Through therapy, I've discovered my anger was normal and warranted. Yet, my amygdala tries so hard to "protect" me by not letting me stand up for myself or being seen as angry or difficult even though that actually hurts me. I've worked hard to "retrain" it but the amount of anxiety I have when I have to stand up for myself is no joke. It's a constant fight - are you reacting to something in the past or are you reacting to the actual situation you're in? And the strength it takes to go against the immediate instinct from the amygdala is a lot. I succeed sometimes and fail others. I'm so proud of him for the work he's put in on himself and I am so grateful he was willing to put himself out here like this. He didn't have to be so vulnerable, but he let us see that. This video means a lot to me.

Going through life with mental health issues feeling like no one understands, and then being serendipitously gifted SUGA and instantly rejoicing – “Holy sh*t, he gets it.” Whether with BTS or solo, his frankness and vulnerability have been much needed validation for so many of us. Thankfully, life goes on for this sweet soul and amazing talent. His journey has been both heartbreaking and awe inspiring, and he chooses to share his catharses for himself, his brothers, and ultimately, us. This album really hits home, especially on top of an already emotional week. Much love to anyone who is dealing with stuff, and even if you’re not. To Agust D, SUGA, Min Yoongi: THANK YOU.

One of the more difficult MVs I’ve watched. Very raw and relatable way to visualize fighting with your own brain and feeling trapped in memories and emotions of trauma. Beautiful art and I’m glad he’s in a better space now. I can’t wait to see him live!

I cry every time I watch this. Even going into the first video knowing a lot of those things about him I was still not prepared. It’s like anguishing to know the incredible amount of struggle he has had to face, and some of it alone. Yoongi is so SO strong, and even that is an understatement. You cannot get more open about something than he did with that song and video. He left himself so vulnerable and exposed, but he knew how it would help. I am glad to see how far he has come. Having bipolar depression myself I know it’s not one of those things you just cure with meds and move on. It’s a life long struggle, but he shows it can be one you can be in control of. This is going to be SO emotional live omg!!!

I was struck by how visually beautiful the video was as well as how perfectly it told Suga’s story.
