JK did a Vlive right after that concert, wearing his biker jacket & sleep shorts combo. 😁 He said he was doing warmup exercises barefoot, and backed into something sharp (a metal frame or something, I don't remember), and he split his heel. He showed a very mature attitude about it afterwards (as you saw in the video); since he couldn't dance, he channeled his energy into perfecting his singing, and experimented with different vocal techniques. 💜

That is Son Sung Deuk who is BTS choreographer and performance director. He has been with them since the beginning.

😱 that’s my nightmare! I could only imagine how perfect his voice would be with him not worrying about choreography and just focusing on singing I bet he did some amazing ad libs too!

Ohhh thank you lol I’ve seen him so many times just never really asked “who is that” I guess!

This docuseries takes place in 2018. Since it ended w/ Jimin’s birthday it’s October 2018 by the end of this episode. Suga had his shoulder surgery toward the end of 2020, right around the time the BE album came out. It was a very, very long time coming.

Jungkook’s heel was at least deep enough for him to need stitches. A doctor came & did them back stage before the show. I can’t remember if that’s in the movie or a bangtan bomb but we saw him getting them & then again getting them out. Not the actual foot so you don’t have to look away. It’s just his face or the people in the room.

The guy you noticed often is Son Songdeuk. He's been their choreographer since the very beginning. I believe he often comes with them for some of their tours. He's very close with them, and they respect him immensely.

As other have said, Son Songdeuk was BTS's head choreographer from the beginning; very early on you can see him as one of the back up dancers in the dance practice videos, or as a placeholder in rehearsals when RM couldn't perform. He became their performance director, and toured with them. In the last episode, when they said their choreo director was missing (and JHope filled in giving critiques) they were referring to Son Songdeuk. He's now performance director for Hybe, and helps oversee performance for many of the groups as well as auditions for new talent. There was an interview with him this past year where he talks about his career, and how he came to work for PD Bang.

As for JK's injury, the movie does go into it a bit more. There's also a commentary film where BTS watches the Bring the Soul movie and talks about things. It's fun to see their perspectives as they reminisce afterwards instead of while they're on the tour.

2023-02-23 01:42:35 I was at that concert where JK got injured!! I remember a few minutes before the concert was supposed to start everyone got a notification on their phones explaining that jungkook was injured and might not perform and the entire crowd let out this super loud gasp and everyone was so concerned. Thankfully as you saw he did go on stage but for the rest of the concert we were just that little bit louder cheering for him and chanting that 'it's okay' and we know it's not his fault! </3 genuinely broke my heart a little bit seeing him so sad thinking he had let us down when of course he didn't! I like to think we helped cheer him up a little!
