What happened to Suga's shoulder has always astonished me. The fact that he still did all those insane dances using that shoulder, and only just recently had surgery on it just shows the level of his professionalism and drive. It's also like you said as far as "the next BTS". There is no way anyone could ever be them, it's impossible. And no one should want to be. They keep saying New Jeans is that next BTS, but I don't think that's respectful to New Jeans. That puts SO much pressure on them and it takes away from their own identity. BTS is a once in a lifetime enigma, and I will always feel so lucky to be living this life at the same time as them.

Love your reactions to this series! I don’t think it’s Hybe or Bighit looking for the next BTS. Bang has said there will never be another BTS. It’s the Korean media & government that keep taking about it & they’ve got some US media saying it as well.

I agree with what you said about not being another BTS anytime soon, like there will be no other The Beatles or Queen because they have something that made them unique and it wasn't just their music alone, it's an amalgamation of factors or things coming together at the right time with the right people I guess. 2023-05-12 23:50:11 It's been fun seeing this again along with you. Looking at this, I can't imagine how much pressure JK was under. He was the main singer & center when he was so young. He was also not old enough to understand that he couldn't push 100% at every show or he'd burn out. It was so fortunate that the other members supported and guided him. There will never be another BTS like there won't be another Beatles or Michael Jackson. The fates aligned when they were formed. If Bang PD hadn't been there, if they worked for the big 3, etc. they would have been a very different group.

I totally agree that there will never be another BTS. Their determination, their talent, their selflessness, and their work ethic combined with their funny, relatable and endearing personalities cannot be replicated. Then add in being mentored by the incredibly wise and kind Bang PD and having the best producers and directors- Pdogg, Son Sung-deuk, Lumpens etc and these are some of the reasons why they are legendary icons now. The world is so fortunate to have experienced all that BTS has given us and I feel that trying to find "the next BTS" is insulting to BTS.

“The next BTS”. Someone did a video about this and made good points. Several companies, and even Simon Cowell, tried and failed because they expected immediate success. BTS put in the drudge work of building their performances. BangPD, Pdogg, and the rest nurtured, supported, gave them time to grow into who they are. The point being - bring together the talent, give them time and experiences, back them up with behind the scenes talent. I dont think there was or will ever be anonther band like BTS. There a lot of good bands and artists for sure but BTS is a compilation of so many things. What make them special is the 7 members themselfs.

i love watching this again with you. I really appreciated what you said about having seen parts of the lottery ticket story in other fan-made documentaries, but seeing it in the full context tells a different story. I think this is so true. It's so nice to to the source and see the entire thing instead of just a clip. It really gives a fuller perspective. It's mind-boggling to me that they wrote songs for the next album while touring, setting up their equipment and breaking it down in hotel after hotel along the way. As you said, there can never be another BTS, because it's just THEM. I look forward to the next episode!!

Yes! I always think that too. You can’t replicate BTS because u can’t replicate these seven guys, working together as they do, being the humble people that they are. But you can also never replicate their journey with bang pd and hybe, because those things are different too now. So even new hybe groups, even if given amazing support and freedom will still start with more/different opportunities. Plus it’s not needed. They should Just be the amazing version of themselves that they are.
