Dynamite was my introduction to BTS. Once I saw and heard Dynamite, I dove into the rabbit hole and have been Army ever since! Dynamite is just a fun feel good song, and that is definitely what I needed at the time. I'd been a widow for about 6 months when I found them and it really help lift me out of a dark time. The video had an 80s vibe, which is when I grew up, so I really connected with them that way as well.

You found the Tiny Tans. I want to say that they were introduced in IDOL. There's 2 shorts, Magic Door and then another. Watch the outfits which are based on what they wear in the MVs

Thank you for your reaction John! I will say your thoughts on the purpose of Dynamite(and their other two english songs) is correct. It’s meant to make you feel good, you can’t not listen to dynamite and be sad, it’s an instant mood lifter. And of course there are those that did think the same as you did when you heard snippets of Dyna and Butter and you’d be right to say that those aren’t the songs you’d use to introduce bts to them, however there are a lot of people who became fans, that either just discovered bts or finally decided to get into bts because of Dynamite. I’m one those who, knew about bts, but didn’t start actually getting into them until dynamite and butter. But I was so shocked when I decided to just let their songs play on their Spotify page, that I was liking every single song that came up and then the rest was history. Thank you again and look forward to your future reactions

I love your reactions, and the way you just share your honest joy with us. Fun fact about Dynamite live performances: I think they performed this about 55 times on talk shows and award shows and special performances... and EVERY one was different. The staging, costuming and small interactions between the guys during the choreography... It's astonishing. The sets they built for the James Corden show and the Grammys are mind-boggling in their details. And I love the Christmas version on the SBS Music Awards. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I’m so glad you came to BTS with an open mind. I love your reactions. Their English songs are very uplifting and fun but as a non-Korean speaking person I still prefer the depth that their Korean songs have. Tiny tan Magic Door (mic drop) and Dream On (Zero O’clock) are my favorite videos of these two songs. I can’t watch the official MV for mic drop without picturing their tiny tan characters. The animated (not tiny tan) MV of We Are Bulletproof The Eternal is also a very cute video.

They really lit up the world with dynamite. I believe there are about 35 DIFFERENT live performances they did in all. Each one of them different, really. It’s insane. They just wanted to cheer people up &amp; it did. Totally diff from their previous songs, but as you said the world was going thru a hard time &amp; needed a little light. You are correct about V and his deadpan sense of humor. LOL there are a few mashup vids on YT about it and examples of him saying the funniest things with a straight face. Lol

Thank you for the access! (I love all the English songs and why they were given to us. As much as I Love thier Korean and Japanese songs for the same reason. All of their songs have a purpose. They don’t do anything without thinking about their purpose and reach). 💜
