I can't even remember which reaction to another band or singer I had seen of yours that had me KNOWING that you would love McFly and Danny's voice especially, which is why the first ever song I gave you was Red 😍

This album and RadioActive are my joint favourites. I've probably listened to this one most over the past year, only because it's newer. To be honest, before P2P, I did used to listen to the Anthology Tour live recordings on Amazon most though ❤️

Great reaction, personally I really struggle to pick favourite McFly Albums, but this album is probably close to being my favourite, but its very hard to choose - Radio:Active has Falling in Love and its my favourite song, The Lost Songs has a good few favourites in there as well. Honestly I listen to the Anthology versions of all of their old songs more than the album versions, all their voices matured by then and sound amazing. What can probably be said is that this is their best sounding album, the writing, sound and production is just incredible and really came together, and little accidents helped this album as well - one being the original plan for Tom to sing Honey I'm Home changing to Danny singing it - I just can't imagine anyone other than Danny singing it. This album sounds great recorded, but live just elevates it all as well. They recorded it with live performances in mind and it shows, I think every song sounds even better live - I'd kill for a live album of these songs - think anthology style. Where did all the guitars go is a prime example, the live version on YouTube is just incredible - I think part of it comes from them sharing vocals a bit more - rather than Tom getting all the choruses, Danny has the second and he smashes it out the park.

I have a lot of nostalgia for their other albums but this album sounds the closest to how they sound live and it checks a lot of boxes for me. When you have a band that is so good live it can be hard to go back and listen to the recorded versions, but I don't have that issue with this album. Still, nothing will ever beat live McFly! They're just too good at what they do and a studio can't contain that much talent haha

You know, a lot of people just go to their studio and stay outside waiting for them to show up, and a lot of them are able to talk to them a little. Maybe next time you can try, they're very open with the fans. Also, just a remember, you skiped 3 albuns between radio active and power to play.

Music has definitely helped me when family screaming at each other, I’m trying to focus, I want to cry and McFly has helped with several of them songs for me not to give up or try anything stupid again

I can’t afford Disney so I love watching Tom his wife G and his sister Carrie stories on instagram they all went on a Disney Halloween trip Tom and G have such a lovely family and I think all 3 of their kids plays a musical instrument

fun fact- it was originally supposed to be tom singing Honey I'm Home.. but during recording for this album, he was having vocal issues so danny stepped in.. because of toms vocal issues, this is the least he's sung on an album.. but it's the most dougie has sung :)

evie

they all said in various interviews etc that this album was heavily inspired by 80s rock anthems, usually when they write songs everyone brings some of their own influences and this was the first album where they were all on the same page which is big rock songs and power ballads (with some emo dougie songs thrown in cause why not). also they did say that they wanted to write an album that would represent how they sound live, and i feel they managed to do exactly that. as you now know their live shows are a whole 'nother experience. oh also to me honey i'm home sounds like they feel at home when they're back on stage, especially with the video and all that tour footage. there's a long running belief in the fandom that every big love song is actually about the band, like heart never lies or forevers not enough, and honestly i love that for them. anyway P2P is def my number one mcfly album, i always listen to it from start to finish and never skip a song. i do wish they would perform crash and make it out alive live cause those two are probably my favorite dougie vocals of all time, but no luck so far </3
