Lie to me is partly written about a tough time Luke was going through, so the music video being Luke stuck in a car while the other 3 can only watch on while it crashes and burns is very symbolic of what the song is about. More is probably my favourite song from Youngblood but it’s a pretty solid album, and they just get better as time goes on. Loved the reaction, like McFly, 5sos is an amazing live band, everything is just slightly heavier live, and again, similar to McFly, I think their music is made for live shows.

This is the only 5SOS album I’ve ever listened to and man was it a banger. I think the only other song by them I know is Teeth which is also amazing

John!!!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and can I just say it's so awesome to hear you want to jump on board as a "Dude for 5SOS". They do have a primarily female audience, however there are definitely guys that enjoy them and/or attend the concert but not nearly enough to represent what they deserve given their musicianship etc (as you so beautifully articulated!) My faves would be More and If These Walls Could Talk (aside from the singles). There's actually three more bonus tracks which are equally dope. You have to watch the official "Youngblood" music video because it was shot in Japan so you'd love it!! You now also have to watch Cocktail Chats (which is an easily digestable 7 episodes of roughly 5 mins long talking about the recording of each song from Youngblood as they consume cocktails and get a little drunk) PS. You were right on the influence of Phil Collins and The Police. Thanks for the great reaction.

5SOS in insane live. You definitely have to watch a full concert, preferably a recent one! They really are a musican's band, you can tell by the instrumentation and the melodies they use in their songs. Also, they are so good at playing instruments! Youngblood is part of the "1 billion steams" club on Spotify (over 1.8B to be exact). The bass hits so hard!! The harmonies in Lie to Me are so damn beautiful. I love the 80s musicality of Talk Fast. That drum fill in Moving Along is pure insanity. More. What a banger! Live? Just wow, speechless. Ghost Of You is their most beautifully written song, just chills! I honestly forgot this is the end of the standard album haha Seriously you need to listen to the bonus tracks! Babylon is also one my favorite on this album and it's a bonus track! Ashton is a beast of a drummer. 5SOS loves playing with contrast, whether it's sad lyrics with upbeat tempo, different vocalist, instruments, tones, effects.
