Question for Kip — for us readers there’s this interesting tension in not knowing how much longer the story is gonna be. Even though you said it’s on the shorter side, like No Lunch Take Out, it often feels like it could either be ending in a few pages, or there's a whole new sequence about to unfold. My question is, how do you feel about this tension and mystery about how much story is left? Is that something you want readers to experience? For me, it is part of the excitement about finding out what happens. At the same time, I do have a little anxiety that the story could suddenly end! When you’re reading a book, you can tell when you’re near the end because the stack of remaining pages gets skinny. Would you consider giving a warning when we’re in the last 6 pages? Or in the last few weeks of posts? Or would that kill the good suspense? :)

It's cool how we're getting early weight gain out of the way. I didn't think about it til now, but this is the first "starting off fats" main character we've had. Curious when you're setting up a story like this Kip did you have that intention or any goals for what your next story should be?

I dunno. Maybe I'm too used to Big Cindy, but not-Big Cindy looks... off, somehow. Like her head's wrong for her body or something. I can't quite put my finger on it but she's markedly better looking as a small whale.

If you mean did I know when starting that the story would go this way? Yes, since it's a short story it's been following my original script very closely, I've only adjusted minor details. I already have a couple other stories planned but they are still going to evolve as they always do when I write them.
