The hand dyed you're knitting up looks very "Monet" pond like. I'm not a fan of pooling either but I think this is lovely.

yay!! to sock stash 2024 as not had a chance to join in this year, but now I am going into semi-retirement I plan on knitting all the things!!! especially excited I can actually have time to follow along with advent KAL this year too :)
