It's been years since I've done cross stitching but am throughly enjoying this pattern, thanks. I'm in love with the dog at the opening of the series! He's the master of this beach!!

I’m having a hard time putting the threads through the stitches, to finish up on the back of my work. I find my needle too big. How can I fix this problem. Thank you. Ps. I’m a beginner.
