Welcome to our ’Baking’ collection.

In this video we commence a six part series of ‘Cooking the World’. In this first episode we are cooking Julia Childs Beef Bourguignon. The rest of the series can be accessed exclusively by Silver, Gold & Platinum Patrons. 

Ingredients

  • 1 x 6 oz chunk of bacon
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 pounds lean stewing beef, cut into chunks
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups red wine
  • 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 cups beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Thyme
  • Bay leaf
  • 24 small onions
  • Butter
  • Bouquet Garni
  • 1 pound mushrooms
