Welcome to our ’Baking’ collection.
In this video we commence a six part series of ‘Cooking the World’. In this first episode we are cooking Julia Childs Beef Bourguignon. The rest of the series can be accessed exclusively by Silver, Gold & Platinum Patrons.
Ingredients
- 1 x 6 oz chunk of bacon
- 3 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 pounds lean stewing beef, cut into chunks
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups red wine
- 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 cups beef stock
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic
- Thyme
- Bay leaf
- 24 small onions
- Butter
- Bouquet Garni
- 1 pound mushrooms
