Valenvent 2023! (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

After the excitement of last month, we are so delighted today to bring you details of what you will need to take part in this years Valenvent! This will be our next Patron Community event that will be available to ALL Bakery Bear Patrons!! 

• We will preview the event on our next Patron Exclusive Show which will be on the 29th of January 2023 at 2pm GMT live or available to watch anytime after 3.10pm GMT
• Valenvent itself will then launch on the 1st of February 2023 with a special post here on Patreon and run through until the 14th February 2023. There will be special Patreon content appearing on Tuesdays and Thursday throughout the event.

I hope you’re as excited as me! To take part in this years Valenvent you will need:-

• Needles - 3.25mm 16 inch (40 cm) circular.
• Notions - One stitch marker and a tapestry needle.
• Yarn - 10 x 10g of fingering weight yarn. 10g is approximately 46 yards (42 metres). These could be mini skeins or leftovers. The inspiration behind this design is that you choose some yarns that are precious to you or that you cherish. This could be a set of minis that you’ve been hoarding, or lots of pretty leftovers from projects that you’ve loved.

You might want a gradient of colours, or lots of pastel or bright shades - whatever it is that makes your heart sing. I’ve chosen lots of pretty speckles in pink and peach tones, and then arranged them light to dark. I have attached a photo of my chosen yarn. This is an item to wear so you should choose colours that will suit you or a particular person if it’s to become a gift.

This is a relaxed and gentle project, something to knit all of your loving thoughts into. I can’t wait to cast on with you!
