My Favourite Blanket - Coming 6th January 2023 (Patreon)

Hi everyone!! 

In excited anticipation of our new upcoming “My Favourite Blanket’ series, I wanted to give you a few details so that you can be prepared for the first show on 6th January 2023.

This is going to be such a special journey. Over twelve episodes airing throughout 2023, you will join me as I share with you the secrets of 'My Favourite Blanket'. This is a brand new blanket design which I have created specially for the series. I have also created twelve brand new colourways for you to use in your blanket, celebrating a beautiful flower from each month of the year. 

Yarn requirements if you want to dye your own yarn

• Each of the 12 sections of the blanket require 2 x 50g of fingering weight yarn
• Each of my 50g skeins is 200m 
• I will be showing you 2 different colourways each time 
• The two skeins will then be held together to knit the blanket 
• If you can’t source undyed skeins that are 50g, you could just use 100g skeins - you’d just have more leftovers.

I buy my yarn for dyeing from yarnundyed.net and they do ship worldwide.

Yarn requirements if you will be using yarn from your stash

• You will need 2 x 50g of fingering weight yarn (minimum 200m per 50g) per section. 
• You can try and match the colours I dye or just use whatever yarn you would like. 
• As a guide, each of the sections will generally have a tonal and a variegated/speckled each time.

Needles

The blanket is knitted using 4.5mm needles. I start off with a 80cm length cable and then switch to 100cm when it grows larger.

Written Pattern 

The written pattern for each section of the blanket will only be available exclusively to ALL Bakery Bear Patrons. We will publish the first section at 7am on the 6th of January 2023 along with the episode of the Video Show which it accompanies. 

This is the biggest series I have ever presented, I'm super nervous but also tremendously excited as I think you're all going to love the pattern so much! I cant wait to see you all next week with the first episode!!
