Kay is delighted to return with the next part of her brand new absolute beginner sock knitting series.

In todays lesson join Kay as she:

  • Shows you why we started the heel flap on a purl row
  • Talks you through the notions you’ll need to undertake this process and why you need them
  • Demonstrates how to pick up your gusset stitches on both sides of your heel flap
  • Talks you through how to close the gap on your heel flap, if you would like to of course!
  • Discusses why she uses this technique to knit Magic Loop socks
  • Shows you her special set up round which prepares your socks for the gusset decreases

Great video again. I'm always looking for those little closed rings but can't find them. Not on amazon or etsy. The only ones I can find are the open rings but I don't like them, the yarn is keep sticking on them.
