We are absolutely delighted to introduce the sixth Bakery Bears Hand Dyed Yarn.

This is “Mermaids in Monastery“, inspired by our visit to Rievaulx Abbey in Episode 25. With this colour way, we wanted to depict the mermaids supposedly seen by the first monks who travelled across the sea to England in the 12th Century. From the gray of the monks habit, coming to prayer in the monastery, to the pink of the mermaid with the stalina signifying the splashing of the waves.

Our Hardwick base is:
* 75% super wash merino
* 20% nylon
* 5% stalina

Ten skeins of this colour way will be available to reserve right here on Patreon at 3pm British Summer Time on the 27th of August 2016. Ten skeins of ‘Azeems Dream’ will also be available on this update in the Middleham Base.

To reserve your skein visit our Patreon page at 3pm British Summer Time tomorrow. The first ten comments will have one skein reserved for them to buy in our Etsy Shop.

Bakery Bear Yarns are made available every month to Bakery Bear Podcast Patrons at $5 or more exclusively. To find out more about becoming a Patron of the Bakery Bears Podcast visit our Patreon Page which you can access here : https://www.patreon.com/bakerybearspodcast
