Hi everyone!

We just released our latest Radio Show episode where we discussed holidays, from Easter to Christmas and more. Which do we celebrate, what do we eat and do we have any traditional activities. The show was inspired by a number of listener questions. So thank you to everyone who contacted us asking us to discuss this!

If YOU have any suggestions for future Radio Show episodes we would love to hear from you. You can either comment below or send a message to Dan to let us know at dan@bakerybears.co.uk

Thanks so much everyone!

We here in Sweden celebrate something called "Valborg". It came to us from Germany a very long time ago. Walpurgis Night (Valborgsmässoafton), an abbreviation of Saint Walpurgis Night, also known as Saint Walpurga's Eve, is the eve of the Christian feast day of Saint Walpurga, an 8th-century abbess in Francia, and is celebrated on the night of 30 April and the day of 1 May. And it's also about scaring away witches and bad spirits through lighting big fires (majbrasor – bonfires) for protection and making a lot of sounds to scare off evil forces. Nowadays, Valborg is all about celebrating that spring has finally arrived.
