Welcome to back to our 'Knitting University'

We have had some requests to give you more time to collect your supplies. So a week earlier than planned, we are here to begin the final course in this years 'Knitting University'. This will give you an extra few days before we actually cast on, on the 7th of September 2021.  

Autumn is beginning to appear in the UK and what better way to celebrate that than with a gorgeous hat. In this course we will knit the 'Bargello Hat'. Along the way we will learn the super fun 'Bargello Stitch', a really unique way to create colour work.  

In today's video Kay will:

• Introduce you to the final course we will be undertaking
• Talk you through the stages of this course
• Discuss the techniques we will be covering within this course and introduces you to the 'Bargello' stitch
• Show you her finished 'Bargello Hat'
• Talk you through all the supplies you will need to take part in the course
• Discuss appropriate yarn for the project in some detail
