Welcome to Dans 'The Self Contained Knitter' show!

Every month join Dan in his quest to knit a garment all on his own. Today we reach the six month mark since he cast on the 'Ridarri'. How much progress has he made physically and mentally? In todays show we find out.

Join Dan as he:

  • Analyses the mental effects his ‘Self Contained Knitter’ plan is having on all his knitting
  • Talks through the complexities of the ‘Cascades’
  • Discusses jumper construction
  • Talks through his ethos on teaching new techniques
  • Discusses the perfect bag size for a garment and shows you his nearly finished sleeve
  • Gets rather excited about the prospect of having a whole wardrobe of Icelandic Colourwork Sweaters
  • Talks through how Lopi yarn feels ‘on’
  • Mentions Ben Fogle ‘New Lives in the Wild’ series https://www.channel5.com/show/ben-fogle-new-lives-in-the-wild/
