Happy New Year! I'm happy to hear that you've had a good year. We had a pretty good year as well. Not that it was all sunshine & rainbows, but we have all made it through the year and it hasn't been all bad. I actually feel that it was nice to have a quiet year where a person may have had more time for reflection and inner growth. I'm grateful for the extra time with family, etc. I think bad or good is a matter of perspective for the most part. Yes, 2020 was a rough year out in the world, but there are also benefits to it as well. People have literally been forced to come to the end of TV or phone focus and started spending time talking, playing games, etc. Parents now understand exactly how hard teaching is, when they have to be responsible for making sure that their children are learning. I've seen more parents & kids playing outside than in several years. It reminded me of when I was a kid. This is a bad thing at all. I'm not blind to all the trouble in the world, but I'm not going to let all the trouble blind me of the good that happens.
