Welcome to the 'Bakery Bears Radio Show' Episode 31

Folks its Boxing Day and as we discovered in our most recent Video Show, this is a day we traditionally head out for a walk. So whether you're walking too, or maybe you're taking a quiet moment in your favourite chair by the Christmas Tree, join us as we walk and talk all about what we like to do at this time of year.

Join Dan & Kay as they discuss:

  • The passing of Christmas 2020 and all that they have enjoyed this year
  • The period between Boxing Day and New Years Day and why historically they haven't enjoyed this period so much
  • The changes they are making this year that they hope might become new traditions
  • The resurgence of records and which is better, digital or physical copies of movies and films
  • Their plans for a 'Scrabble' tournament!

Thank you for the lovely walk! Yes, I take down all the decorations the day after and decorate with white poinsettias and winter related colors. Finished the cowl and love it!

In the Uk Allotments began according to this article https://www.nsalg.org.uk/allotment-info/brief-history-of-allotments/ in 1906 Then here in the US, allotments are referred to as vacant lot or community gardens. Some elementary schools will have a garden for the children to grow produce of all sorts. 🍅🍓🍆🌽🌶
