  • His progress on the Christmas Cowl and his need to go a little off piste from the written pattern
  • How his mindset towards all knitting is changing thanks to aspiring to be a ‘Self Contained Knitter’
  • The mental benefits of knitting and how it impacts your whole life
  • His favourite motifs and effects when knitting colour work

I absolutely love this show; I like getting to hear your process and explanation on everything from pattern, yarn & needles... In the podcast episodes it’s rare we get to hear your complete thoughts on yarn/color way and to see you explain things because Kay usually tells us about the yarn and she shows us the item you are creating. Not that that is a negative, it’s just nice to hear from you about your project. I like hearing from both of you on your individual projects is all. Anyways, another amazing self contained episode!

That is one of the best things about knitting..being able to tink back a mistake and redo it. It gives me courage. There is no need to feel scared starting a project, if you have to rip the entire project back and start over, it gives you valuable experience and knitting is always fun!
