Ladies and gentlemen this is it! 16 months ago Dan began a journey into steeking and in todays show the deed is done. Yes, join Dan and Kay as they take you through the whole process of securing and then cutting the Clayoquot.

You did a fabulous job Dan. You should be very proud of yourself as it is a beautiful garment! I know that there are many knitters who do ask other knitters to either put in a zipper, steek, etc. I think that you are right in that you should leave steeking on the back burner for now; when you want to do another project, do it then. Fabulous and very considerate, loving plan to make clothes for B's bear. Doing a small project like that can give you enjoyment in knitting whatever type of knitting YOU want! Well Done sir! It has been very interesting watching you knit the sweaters, so thank you very very much for sharing your journies with us. I have learned a lot!

My comments aren’t saving for some reason... I’ve loved watching this journey, Dan, even though the steeking was nerve-wracking. I do love seeing you develop knitterly critical thinking; this is how you become a knit designer. At least, that’s how I started designing colorwork patterns. I really look forward to seeing your next series!
