Jim Pater

I just saw this video. I have to tell you that I've tried "Judy's Magic Cast On" before and I just couldn't get it to work out. I tried it again today after watching your video tutorial for that cast on and "Voila!" I got it. So, I started another sock and I have already worked through the "wedge" toe to the number of stitches that I hope will work for my feet. I have to tell you that this is my 4th pair of socks and the first two were slightly loose on my feet. The 3rd was way too short for my foot length as I wasn't really paying attention while knitting them. I'm excited about this of sock as it is my first toe-up sock. I used the umbrella toe on the last pair of socks and I love the look of it. So I'm really excited to try the design of this new toe-up design with the afterthought heel as I have very narrow feet with small ankles.

It's very helpful being able to refer back to this and other tutorials as a refresher on the different heels, toes and other techniques. Thank you Dan & Kay for keeping these available for your Patreons. 👍🏼💙💜😊
