You say to pick up 20 stitches and cast on 21 in this video but in the pattern it says to pick up 22 and cast on 23.

Hi Lynne - if you’re knitting from the pattern, follow the pattern instructions. If you’re knitting from the tutorial series follow the video instructions. As we mentioned at the start of the series, these tutorials were filmed long before the pattern was written and Kay made some minor changes to things in the pattern. Both solutions lead you to the same ends though, a beautiful squishy blanket x
