Welcome to our ‘Perfect Cake’ series.

We're back with more from our search for the perfect slice of cake. Today we visit somewhere we've known about for years but we've never been in. It is without doubt the tea-rooms with the best view we can recall anywhere we've ever been.

Our destination used to be the home of the head gardener for a Victorian Garden. About 90 years it became a tearoom and today its time for us to check it out.

What are we looking for:

  • Anything sweet that you can slice
  • A cake that is light and tasty
  • Something with lots of flavour

So lets see how they do! How many stars will they get? Watch the video to find out.....

This concludes the series so far, we had hoped to bring it back after Christmas 2019 when the weather improved. But the world wide Covid-19 pandemic has currently put paid to that plan. We hope to continue this series later in 2020 or early 2021.
