Welcome to our ’Garment Tutorial’ collection.

Sometimes in our knitting, to complete that perfect project we need to add a button. Most commonly this will be found in garments, but sometimes in accessories finishing them off with the flourish of a beautiful button is wonderful. But there's a problem, because most buttons need a button hole.

So today, join Kay as she:

  • Talks you through how and why she developed this technique for adding button hole
  • Shows you the completed button hole and points out why it is her 'perfect' one
  • Demonstrates how she creates the button hole
  • Within this tutorial Kay mentions her 'Moondust' pattern https://bakerybears.com/moondust/

Why did you cast off 4 but put 5 back on? You also didn't mention that the cast on is placed on the needle knit wise. One of the best buttonholes I have seen though.
