Welcome to our ’Intermediate Skills’ collection.

We think that one of the most rewarding skills to enjoy in knitting is that of cabling. Whether it be on a sweater, a hat or even a scarf or shawl, cables are great fun to knit and they look wonderful. So, we thought it was time Kay took you through every step of how she approaches cabling.

Join Kay in the second part of this series as she:

  • Introduces you to the cable cross
  • Shows you the notions you need to create this
  • Talks you through the process
  • Demonstrates how you knit a cable cross

Catch up with the rest of this series:

  • Part 1 'Right & Left Leaning Cables'
  • Part 2 'Cable Cross' Todays show
