I made the ice cream with my nieces on my birthday last Saturday. We tweaked it a little and made two flavours: one with chocolate and salted caramel and one with cherries and merengue. We still have loads in the freezer. I don't care for ice cream much, but my husband loves it. I was watching this episode and afterwards he could literally tell me the ice cream recipe... He was hinting like 'There are only three ingredients. That sounds very easy. And vanilla essence? That stuff is nasty! Good thing we got the extract'.

Just made the ice cream tonight and will have it tomorrow after it freezes. I was naughty and licked the beaters, and then wanted to like the bowl it was so yummy!
