You made a comment that if you drop a cast on stitch you will have to cast on again. Check out the podcast from Very Pink knits.com episode "how to pick up a dropped cast on stitch". Just watched it yesterday. Great trick.

You vocalized something I hadn't really thought about it, but I totally agree, it IS more pleasant knitting on DPNs with a heavier gauge yarn. This will help prevent false starts in future when I cast on finer gauge yarns using DPNs then transition it over to magic loop. Thanks!
