Welcome to our ’Reviews’ collection.

Today Kay returns with a very special project bag review. The question she ponders is how much is too much for an excellent quality project bag. Also when you make a more considered purchase, how does that change your expectations for the item in question.

So join Kay as she:

  • Shows a bag she purchased recently from The Fibre Fox https://www.thefibrefox.co.uk

  • Talks you through why she purchased it and takes a close look at the fabric

  • Shows you all the features of the bag

  • Discusses value for money whilst analysing what you would expect for the price

  • Talks through bag pricing in general and lets you know if she would purchase again

No, I would never spend this much on a project bag. When people stop purchasing overpriced things, prices will eventually drop.

Hi Kay, Fabric is from Spoonflower called Arctic Song by Nouveau Bohemian. It is very beautiful and I had a small amount a while ago. Her other designs are also lovely. Spoonflower are US based and have a huge range of wonderful fabrics by independent designers. I think they also produce/print fabric out of Germany (which was good when we were in the EU). The fabric works out quite pricey per meter so that may account for the high price of the bag. Lining is Lewis and Irene Bumbleberries available from Wool Warehouse - so fabrics are two different ranges. Agree though it is an expensive bag but worth it for the lovely print x
