What a season finale!!!

NOTE: I never 'look ahead' at the upcoming episodes and Max included a 21st episode for the first season that I thought was part of the narrative but was actually an unreleased episode. So every time I say 'penultimate' I should be saying 'season finale'. My pursuit to avoid spoilers cost me on this one, friends :D

Ok so I'm looking up ep.21, and it was cut by Fox before it aired (they wanted a more cohesive # of eps). They eventually added it back in in S2. So watching it in the order on Max would be the thing to do. Though it is outside the current storyline, it doesn't affect what just happened. Looks like it's a standalone episode.

I'm so glad "Special guest star Leonard Nemoy" wasn't ruined for you 🤣 If you go back to the episode where Walter watches the Jacksonville tape of Olivia, you hear Nemoy's voice too. And I love how you got the Peter reveal finally!!! All those little things he said to Peter throughout the season, that obsession with his health in the beginning, etc. So many little clues...

With the Nemoy reveal, I especially love the Star Trek reference in the other episode where the guy thought he was Spock xD

It was already established by Walter in a previous episode that the typewriter is William Bell's because HE wrote the ZFT Manifesto with its accompanying Code of Ethics, unless you think Walter is misleading us :)

Oh, something came to mind when Peter was helping Walter remember what was going on at the beach house 'at that time' and it helped Walter remember. It makes me remember how the 12-step programs work. According to its precepts, it is essential to have a sponsor or guide because when one is in the throes of addiction, their condition becomes like Walter's, unable to access the parts of the brain that help one manage a crisis. A sponsor is there to guide their stewardship to the parts of themselves that they normally are unable to because of addiction. Like Peter, they are a guide. That's why they help. The addicts in this situation are 'stuck'.

The only thing that didn't quite work for me was the truck from "over there." If there is "More than one of everything" then why was it stated that this truck "was never made"? I would have bought it more if Charlie said, "This truck is parked on the lower east side. Why would someone duplicate the vin number on this particular truck?"

Loved your S1 theories and I can’t wait to hear your S2 theories 😁 Fun fact: Besides his Star Trek movie cameo, this was the last live action role Nimoy agreed to play. He had already retired, but JJ talked to him about the part after working with him on ST and he absolutely loved the character. Oh and I hope we do get to see your reaction to the out of place episode. It’s technically not needed BUT it does add another layer to a few relationships.
