Dana is definitely a very likable and charismatic character: she has a personable, cutesy side to her, but once the fight starts, she's all business and goes into badass mode (like her parents would). Some more notes: Lt. Marie Crystal is a Veritech pilot with the Tactical Armored Space Corps (TASC), whereas Dana is a Hovertank driver with the Alpha Tactical Assault Corps (ATAC). Lt. Nova Satori is an officer with the Global Military Police (GMP), which enforces discipline within the Army of the Southern Cross, gathers intelligence (CIA-type duties), and also secures locations that are highly sensitive (e.g. the ruins of the SDF-1).

Nova is a MP (Military Police) Robotech's strength is that it was merged from three series made by the same studio. There is a through line of art and design but because each series was originally distinct it makes each War unique and they're was no way the writers could just repeat the same thing over and over again. Each war was different, the settings and characters different, making it feel truly like a timeline that was actually progressing.
