Secretly, this is one of the most important episodes in the second half of the series. Enough said;) Your assessment of the character development is on point. This show has the most organic evolution of characters I have ever seen on film. They never go stale, and the events of the story actually change them in profound ways. The feedback of the story molds them.

FUN FACT: Cara. Gee( (Drummer) and Keon Alexander (Marco) have been friends for years. They're from the same small town in Canada and went to the same high school. He even went to her wedding. It's great fun watching them play adversaries.

Another fun element of that is that Keon Alexander was with Cara Gee and Dominique Tipper when they both received the news that the show would be cancelled after Season 3. They coincidentally were all having dinner together the night the news dropped. Dominique Tipper and Cara Gee have both said that Keon Alexander spent most of the rest of that night consoling both of them on the news, since they were pretty bummed. Once the show was revived, he happened to get the role of Marco. I'm not sure if Marco would be quite as consoling as Keon Alexander apparently was lol.

Keon is awesome as Marco. I love this introduction to him. He is certainly eye candy for some of us!! His scene in the airlock is perfection. Like an ancient roman emperor deciding on life or death in the lion's den with the thumbs down. I am glad you quickly made the connection between Marco saying "Mars is not the Mars we used to have" with Bobbie's arc. Masterful story telling as usual!! (And I think you are truly understanding why we are all here to relive this incredible tale!! Once we get through not bursting a few blood vessels, it helps us relive all the moments that we have fallen in love with! )

I also want to punch that doey eyed stare off Marco's face xD oh and see Murtry get bitch slapped 🤣🤣 I don't think there are any other two characters in this show that grind my gears. 👊 Absolutely agree with you about the reflection on the character growth! It's just Murtry executing them without a trial, and conspiracy to commit a crime. Like duuude.
