Even though this is one of the weaker episodes (mostly due to the clip show part, as cool as the originals are) this holds a special significance for me because it was the first episode I ever recorded of this show on our VCR. It was also one of the first episodes of Robotech I ever saw because I don’t remember watching Macross before this.

Welcome to the Robotech Cold War lol. As they said, the Masters lacks Protocullture (Fuel) The Army of the Southern Cross lacks man power and equipment but have lots of Protocullture. This is going to be a lot of tit for tat fighting and more strategic focused fights with both sides scared to commit 100% because winner takes all.

I had like 4 official Robotech 2 episode VHS tapes as a kid, this with false start was one of them. I also had the first two episodes. Force of Arms and Reconstruction Blues. Robotech II The Sentinels. And two from the Invid era.
