First ever commission competition! (Patreon)

I mentioned a while back that patreon's rules don't actually allow for raffles, but they do allow competitions, and I decided it's time to hold my first one. I'll supply a basic prompt, and ask for suggestions on an element in the story, and patrons can reply with their own creative ideas.  Everyone who's a paying patron can enter by commenting below, though you can only offer one suggestion per competition. The contest will run until midnight EST on August 25th, and the suggestion that I enjoy most will be chosen to be turned into a 3,000 word story. So here's the prompt for this first contest:

The ancient temple has stood undisturbed for centuries, though the explorer swears they can feel someone watching as they enter the chambers. The rumors of the cursed artifact are well known, but that's nothing for a seasoned tomb raider to worry about. The artifact stands before them, just waiting to be claimed. And to claim the one foolish enough to take it.

Sexy supernatural artifacts in an ancient tomb, an old classic! For the competition I want everyone to comment with their idea for what the treasure or artifact is and what it will do to the unsuspecting explorer, be it brainwashing, domination, transformation or any other fun thing that turns you on. I'll be picking the idea that personally interests me the most, so don't worry if you're not picked this time around.

The chosen winner will get to talk with me to help design what our victim- er, explorer- looks like and what we see happens to them when they mess with the winning artifact. So be as creative as you'd like, though try to keep it brief. And remember you're just describing the artifact and the power or effect it has, not scripting out the idea for the story, so keep it simple and fun with your descriptions.

Just remember your suggestion has to be in before midnight EST on August 25th, so that's just over two weeks to think up your idea. Interesting! Let's see, what can I come up with...? As for the nature of the artifact, how about a golden statue that gradually transforms those closest to the victim into a fully fledged harem? Perhaps including the cursed victim themselves. Replete with costumes, to the point that any item of clothing they try to wear permanently transforms. A little bit of an easy idea, but hopefully it gets the ball rolling.

Ehhh the ancient temple harem shtick is a bit cliche. Why not an amazonian temple, where girls find magic armor and other cursed relics that slowly turn them into tall, buff amazons? Followed by snu snu, naturally. And the more women the amazons capture, the more amazons there are!

The Phoenix and Cat

Perhaps, the artifact is an ancient puzzle box. Once solved it seemingly does nothing, but it releases a little spirit that is annoyed it was banished from its home, so as vengeance follows the explorer around and traps her in rather embarrassing and somewhat steamy and awkward situations

A golden idol of one of the ancient Egyptian deities, with the power to change the behavior and form of its devotee (or the thief that took it, it's a statue, it can't tell the difference). Not mind control in the strictest sense, thoughts and memories are unaffected, but it strengthens instincts and passions appropriate to the animal of its god, blurring the line between human and animal, and can even make physical changes to bring one closer to the divine form.

The artifact can transform the person into a seductive being themself. They wear it and with each person they bring under their thrall the artifact absorbs their energy, making her powers stronger >:) tell me whatcha think!

The Amulet of the First Mother Anyone who wears the amulet become permanently bonded to it, and it cannot be removed. The wearer is transformed into a beautiful, mature woman, well endowed and deliciously curved. This transformation can involve breast expansion, ass expansion, age progression, age regression, and even gender transformation. The wearer gradually becomes more and more irresistible to younger women, especially any daughters the wearer might have. The wearer also becomes attracted to young women, and having sex with other women will cause her to lactate. The amulet allows the wearer to become impregnated by other women, and the daughters conceived will eventually grow up to be attracted to other women, and can become impregnated by other women as well, as will all of their descendants.

Okay, bit of an off-the-wall idea. How about if the artifact is...Nothing? Nope, stay with me here. It's a garment that warps perception in such a way that it's seen by a given person as the thing they most desire. But in actuality, there isn't actually anything there - so the protagonist will actually be naked, without her realization. Emperor's New Clothes-style. However, from the perspective of anyone else looking at her, it will appear to be the perfect outfit to satisfy their fetishes/kinks. An extreme sub might see it as, say, a BDSM latex suit, complete with strap-on. Could do a lot of interesting things involving altered perception, especially since the dom and sub aren't on the same "wavelength" in terms of said perception. The wearer might see it as "just" a hot-as-hell cocktail dress while their partner sees said BDSM gear, for example.

There's the official story, certainly, but is it true? Among other wonders, he crafted a throne of exquisite and irresistible beauty. One of such splendor that it entranced Hera, whom it bound in invisible fetters. Perceivable to no one but Hephaestus himself. Now the literal interpretation is that she was tied to the chair... But perhaps the bonds were more ephemeral in nature. She was released, so they say, and granted Hephaestus Aphrodite as a reward. But was she released? Truly? Or was she held in thrall still? He crafted perfect women of gold to serve him. And even carved the first mortal woman, giving her life. What other wonders might lay hidden in his workshop under mount Aetna? A place no human has dared to venture, until today?

Which is a flowery way of saying - A brainwashing chair of some subtlety. One that observers, or even the victim, might not even realize is doing anything. Perhaps through pleasure? Servants, automatons of ancient origin. Perhaps of great use in keeping otherwise willful wife's dutiful and compliant? And maybe even a prototype? A failed woman, meant to be mortal, but imprisoned for eternity in a lab due to simply being too dangerous to unleash on the world?

To continue the greek mythology theme, perhaps a horn or goblet of Dionysus? A horn to sound a call to... Well... Orgy. To drive women mad with desire, rendering them as Maenads of old? Or a source of wine, a bottomless cup or cask, to similar effect. There is of course, Priapus. Though making use of his altar or relic without a man might be difficult, and I know you prefer the F/F area. Or the somewhat obvious bow of Eros, powerful enough to even drive gods mad with desire. Or perhaps a relic of his daughter Hedone, the personification of physical pleasure, inducing a bliss so complete that the bearers mind is left open and defenceless. Basically the greeks are perverts and there's a thousand options ;)

The return of the Jackal's mask: a gift of fealty once bestowed by the kings of Ethiopia, crafted in the likeness of Anubis, it is said to have intense red bands of mesmerizing jasper. Their love and intense fealty to each other was a part of the curse as was the creation of a "pack" of fiercely loyal followers. The wearer/owner of the pack gains extremely loyalty of the first recruit as a "mate". However, the jackal mask also requires the formation of a pack (e.g. - a little serial recruitment). The Jackal's mask creates a hive mind that all have access to with the owner being the ultimate decision maker. The hive mind allows them to make coordinated actions, feel the same pleasure others do, and so on. Doggy-style seems to be a favorite position of those in submission to the owner with it being even more exquisitely pleasurable. Those recruited to the pack are marked with a winged scarab on the back of their neck or as a chest piece to show their transformation. Fiercely territorial.

I can't remember the name but how about a temple belonging to a more mystical version of the sect of Buddhism that says sex is a way to achieve enlightenment? The artifact could be some kind of prayer bell, with each ring releasing a soothing, sweet sound that slowly makes listeners believe in the forgotten sect's beliefs with each ring along with becoming increasingly horny/losing sexual hang-ups (with full conversion when they have sex under its influence). I was thinking the story would focus mostly on the tomb raider and another 1-2 people (maybe a nun from the area and/or a history professor who serves as exposition) being converted in the room where the bell is, with the last part of the story being them ringing the bell in a room full of important people (who will help resurrect the sect) and ending with an orgy. The scenario could be changed to a more generic cult if that works better.

I read the previous ideas and I must say that some are wonderful. I liked the idea of ​​masterdramom with the artifact that varies depending on whether it is seen by a person with the dominatrix or submissive nature.

my idea is the following: the artifact is a collar or another piece of clothing that allows the person wearing it to control a raw material used by the ancients to command over other people, the latex. this artifact allowed a priestess to come to be considered a goddess with an army of submissive slaves. the protagonists are 2 explorers, one will have the features of kim possible while her assistant those of bianca beauchamp. kim is secretly in love with her assistant and wants to make her lover and sexpet. she thinks that with the artifact in her hands she could easily manage to have bianca all by himself and create her slave harem where bianca would be her favorite pet

My idea is that it’s a Djinn (commonly know as a Genie), bound to the object. HOWEVER, said Djinn twist wishes to enslave the ‘owner’, corrupts ting them to fit her desires.

Cool contest. Well I’m thinking about the item being a wooden box which is decorated with Jaguars, “the gift box” that can read the mood. Maybe it is an artifact left to the ancient mayan queen “Jaguar I” who used it to consolidate the warring tribes into a united country. As long as you have the box with you, it will always produce the item you need to give to that person to win their interest, love and affection. That gift culture is typical of ancient rulers in the Americas. It all started here thanks to ancient aliens. Maybe start off with picking your target and pulling out a wrapped toothpick saying “is this what you were looking for”. Pull out a bottle of the perfect liquor for your boss. And so on. The problem is that the box always wants you to win more and more different people instead of focusing on your one favourite. And it wants you to raise them all up to be your loyal servants/lovers. Typical artifact dominant problems. As you use it, you get a flash of the effects of the gift on the target’s mood, libido, etc. Originally discovered by a lone adventurer, it only works if you hold it while interacting with someone else. So the main character works as a curator assistant on a summer job in a museum.

And Sammy is good at writing embarrassing steamy awkward situations. It’s a gift. Tell your mother proudly. Especially clothes ripping, caught on things and have to be removed, wet and semitransparent, wind blowing, etc. Sammy can generate more of these than I can, I assure you.

A simple wooden flute. The adventurer wonders why this artifact which appears so simple and plain is revered in the temple so much. Her assistant while examining and packing decides to blow the flute and an incredible seductive sound is played. The adeventurer is influenced with previously unrealized lesbian feelings for her assistant before the flute is put down. But the adventurer has now been influenced and knows what the artifact does. And she has plans for how it can be utilized to her advantage.
