Option 1) Tom and Dave are unable to control their new abilities and leave chaos in their wake while they search for Will and Tyler, causing people to change at random as they pass.

Option 2) Ethan sends a pair of internal investigators to follow Tom and Dave, only for the two Spore staff to end up walking the streets as scantily clad sex workers after the escaped duo catches on to being followed.
