2020 Recap (Patreon)

Hi Everyone,

What a weird, weird year.  Usually “weird” is something I reserve as a compliment, but in this case I mean it in the most literal sense.  I hope it landed as gently as possible for all of you.  I’m not going to say “happy new year” or anything about plans and goals for 2021 because that feels like a fool’s errand at this point, but we can at least recap the 2020 numbers:

New Stories/Chapters: 101

Average Story Length: 3,652 Words (7.3 pages)

Total Words (at least a ballpark figure using averages): 368,852 (737 pages)

Not bad, all things considered.  There were 109 in 2019, but with all the craziness lately that’s still a decent track record.

Thank you all so much for the support over the past year, and I don’t just mean the monthly pledges.  Having a consistent creative outlet has been invaluable in dealing with all the big picture ups and downs and the personal losses of the past 12 months.  No matter what the coming year brings, I hope you all continue to enjoy the work, and I hope we can continue to build these stories together.
