I do hope you watch most of the filler, it has some great characters like the fireworks girl, Apis (the dragon girl), Daddy and his daughter (Logue Town) and there are more to come but I don't want to spoil if you decide to watch. Although there is a specific filler arc coming (relatively) soon that will really make you not want to watch anymore because it's awful I would just skip that one.

Okay, so from what others are saying in the comments, you didn't really have to skip episode 135. Not sure in what way it's messing with the plot. Cause we know Johnny and Yosaku knew Zoro for a good while. It would make sense Zoro would tell both of them early on about Mihawk, I guess. And it's such a bummer cause I wanted to see the rest of of your reaction, too, cause I'm getting to relive One Piece with you.

Yeah, the arcs have a lot of filler episodes between them, that are just time wasters for the most part that don't add that much to the characters/story that we don't already know about, or have already inferred for ourselves.

I don't really like Sanji and his whole thing, but it is wildly out of character for him to put his hands on Nami, that's the most filler part of the writer didn't know that

Skip to 144 🙏 or do whatever you want :D but skipping this lil filler arc will save you from a week of nothing, and the next real arc is great

The general consensus that I've seen is that there is 1 filler that's a must watch and the rest is up to the viewer. If you would like to know when that filler shows up I'm sure someone other than me can tell you. I don't know if you want to know details about when it pops up or what it's called. As for skipping, if it's boring or fucks with the plot cause I say skip it. And this none definitely fucks with Zoro's ambition/dream imo

Just skip the filler they have no place among the actual story. For a lesser anime I would fight for it but you still have like 1000 episodes to get through. Literally nothing in the filler matters, in fact they get directly contradicted in the future and never mentioned again

I'd recommend just skipping the filler you don't feel up to watching or think aren't that interesting/do the story and characters dirty.

If you were going to skip any filler I would skip this one and go straight to ep 144 the filler is boring and goes against who the characters are but i believe everyone should watch one piece the way they want so you can watch it if you want

Which means you skipped over a 6 episode arc where that happened immediately before the canon arc starting at 144. Rainbow Mist. Claiming that arc "goes against everything the Characters are" shows you have no understanding of who the crew is to begin with.

No I watched rainbow mist and it was extremely boring anyways but also it just doesn’t feel like the normal crew I don’t really know how to describe it
