As someone who missed seeing alot of movies, the ending had an extra comical note to appreciate. Earlier on in the episode, Rick referenced the movie/tv series Highlander and their rules. Short version is there were immortals that had to kill each other until only one survived. The first movie was exclusively soundtracked by the band Queen and the song "Who Wants to Live Forever" was written for it, which was fittingly used as the background music for Jerry's eternal torture.
