Crazy to think you guys are finally nearing the halfway point for part six, feels like forever with the dragon arc and Jojo's no longer being daily. Been waiting for this episode where the story really starts to turn, from White snake being Pucci, to F.F dying after revealing that. Really been enjoying the ride with both of your reactions from start to finish ^^

Yeah Alicia got it right with the boiling water disk. Pucci inserted it into the part that was left beside him, when that part of FF died the disk was no longer connected to FF.

Remember in the Part 3 but really really fast, there was a scene with Dio reading a book yelling RHINOCEROS BEETLE RHINOCEROS BEETLE x100 That was him reading the specific chants needed for heaven, what Pucci was doing to calm the baby. The anime changed it from Rhinoceros beetle to just "beetle" so you most likely didn't notice the connection so yea.

It’s still an assumption though, and it contradicts what is stated in the series. Considering how women are written in jojo it’s not that far fetched to believe they would throw themselves at DIO (just look at how they behave around Jotaro even though he tells them to fuck off).

I doubt they would've consented if they knew they were going to die, and the very first episode of Part 1 shows that consent isn't really a factor to him. But I assume some of them knew they would die, they're weird.

The first episode of Part 1 proves nothing there, since 1, Dio was a child, 2, he was doing that as part of a plan to ruin JoJo, not because he was interested in her, doesn't make it right, but it doesn't mean he'd do the same with others. 3. After Jonathan's death and 100 years DIO had changed drastically. Jonathan's personality actually influenced him. He's still evil, but he isn't needlessly cruel except to his enemies. 4 if DIO has the the charisma to make people follow him to their deaths, why wouldn't he have a posse of people who would give their lives to heal him?

Btw DIO isn't thousands of years old he's like a hundred, the same age as Jonathan. So it's more of a Edward and Bella situation.
