Aizawa raises a very good point when talking about the entrance exams. A lot of people would have quirks that would be extremely useful for hero work but not for fighting villains. The entrance exam is very poorly thought out, honestly. I also love that the show deals with "Villain like" quirks. Much like X-Men mutants there's no choice in what quirk you get. If you get an evil-ish superpower you can still turn that around and be a hero if you apply it the right way. As a matter of fact, purple hair guy makes me think of how the Jessica Jones show toys with the idea of Purple Man using his power for good, Purple Man coincidentally having the same power as purple hair guy except better because as long as someone hears his command it works, you don't need to answer or nothing.

Out of all the characters you've seen so far? I think I'd like to see art of you in Tsu's outfit. The Frog queen is my favorite, real waifu. Second place would be Mina's costume, that's the pink skinned girl with the acid powers. Then third is Mount Lady.

Well for the question of outfits for "cosplay"... are characters ok that have not appeared yet? There is a certain Nr.5 Hero many fans like. I love this episode because it sets up so much worlbuilding, prejudice for certain quirks exist. Not only for the body chaning ones, like Shoji and Tokoyami but others as well. Remember how you judged Shoji? :D What do we learn from that? Dont judge a book by its Cover :D

Okay look, Aizawa is making sense but also... How did "shoot lasers and get a tummy ache" boy pass the test? Invisible Girl? The little Grapist boy? Koda? Oujiro? Like, half of Class A would struggle to take out a robot, especially before their training. How did they all pass?

They're little kids, man. lol There is no actual difference between Class 1-A and 1-B in terms of general ability, but most of those who made the Hero Course made it because they possessed Quirks with a ton of potential (Invisible Girl and Kota) or those who are able to use their Quirks creatively (Mineta is a CC god when he starts getting more mature and Koda's Anivoice is amazing when harnessed to it's fullest).

Right, but the entrance exam doesn’t care about potential, that’s the LITERAL point that Aizawa is making. Mind control has a ton of Hero potential but it doesn’t help destroying robots so he failed. You NEED to destroy a certain amount of metal armed robots or you fail. How did any of them pass?

So the laser he can shoot *is* powerful and as long as he doesn't sustain it for more than a few seconds he doesnt get that ache, so small bursts would do just fine to beat the robot (as you saw, midoriya without using his quirk was able to sever one of the arms of the robots using a hunk of scrap) so they cant have been that hard to take down. Mineta passed by immobilizing them with his "grapes". You didnt have to destroy them to win the points. And lets not forget there was also "Rescue points" which Hagakure and Koda could both have gotten using their quirks.

Points were from immobilizing or rendering a bot non-functional, not just destroying them. Clogging their exhaust mufflers to stall the engine, trapping a bot, jamming a joint with debris (or mushrooms), just breaking the right wire, or even potentially blocking/destroying their sensor depending on their programming would count too. If a bot couldn't move and/or attack, for any reason, it was down and points were given.
