When it comes to the opening, like many/all, people who are telling you it has "spoilers" aren't necessarily wrong but they have hindsight bias. They either watched the season of anime or read the source material. Much of the time if someone ignorant to the source material views an OP, they won't guess what it is that they are seeing.

I guess this is an unpopular opinion but I’m not a big fan of this OP. The ED however is my favorite in the whole show. It doesn’t have any spoilers either, so I’m disappointed you didn’t watch it
