Call of Silence my beloved. The song in Ymir's flashback is a new rendition of Call your Name from when Eren plugged the gate in Trost with new lyrics that I'd recommend checking out! Here's a cool detail that's very easy to miss: one of the cultists worshipping Ymir looks a whole lot like the titan that speaks in Ilse's Notebook...

WIT did a great job with seasons 1-3 of AOT. I was skeptical about MAPPA at first, but they've done an amazing job so far. Really gotta hand it to them.

This episode was so beautiful and tragic with Ymir's past being revealed. When she regains her consciousness as a human again, that whole sequence of her was so gorgeous and amazing. Call of Silence made me tear up before, too.

The fact that Ymir and Historia's romance continuously loses out to Yang and Blake in lesbian polls makes me so mad...these two are so well written, and RWBY? Trash.

I think the fact that Reiner and Co. talk so much about their "hometown" is enough of a clue that there are at least other sentient beings outside the walls. As an anime-only myself, I always kinda assumed there was something going on outside of the walls after Annie's short flashback back at the end of season 1.

Well that doesn't really mean anything since they all come from the same place, I think most people's theories at this point were just that there'ssome kind of titan town and that's it. Ymir's flashback shows a lot more though.

Yup. I'm not sure if it registered for Alicia because she was so focused on Ymir's backstory. Everyone being kicked off a wall is a catalyst for what's to come later on.

My favorite part of watching reactions is seeing what foreshadowing details and proper pronouns people catch and which ones people miss. It's a fun game of will the reactors be in the middle of a spiel (no shade it's what a reaction channel needs to do the be considered "transformative" and not get copyright struck), best part is if they have a good community as you do they'll point them out.
