I have a theory that Studio Orange was afraid of backlash from the CG style, so they decided to make the first intro stop motion (since people often get roped in by intros) and then once the fanbase was established, they were safe to advertise it as it's true style in the second OP

I would suggest to watch it subbed because they prerecorded it so that the animation would match unlike how most anime voiced are recorded after and the VA's. Because of that the Dub often suffers with somethings like the characters constant humming through line in the original sub.

The subtitling for it is SOOOO bad that watching it in dubbed helped a lot. I don’t mind mismatching voices for lip sync as long as I get dope ass performances :D legoshi’s VA is soooo good so far

Some excellent observations made from pretty spoiler-free OPs and EDs, can't wait for episode reactions! I'd recommend watching it subbed, the dub is pretty good but the japanese cast is phenomenal, bunch of VAs from stuff you've previously reacted to.
