By episode count One Piece arcs are so long you honestly forget how fast they actually happen in world time, like Thriller Bark actually is just one night! But IRL the arc came out over the course of athe year 2008! Not to mention how long it's been in IRL since we saw Laboon back at the Twin Cape, like Ebofa said.

Alicia, I don't think there's any point in questioning how Brook's breathing works if he can talk. I feel like that's a bigger question if you're questioning anything. Maybe even question how he can even move without any muscles.
