I love that scene where Gon ask Chrollo why they kill... his answer is so vague yet so telling at the same time. Just like Gon and Killua Chrollo is still also figuring himself out... Him and the rest of the Troupe are such layered characters, i love them so much!

Chrollo also is really young, considering his position and his power. He's in his twenties and most of his life he was more worried about his own and his people's survival. It's natural that he didn't have a lot of time to think about what he actually wants to do with his life
