Either system is fine, both work well. But speaking only for myself (of course), due to some disabilities from my days in the Army, I can only watch videos that are longer than 15 or 20 minutes, on my TV. So the inability to download the videos prevents me from watching anything more than something like an episode of Friends, which I re-record via my OBS and then I can put it onto my home server ant then play it on my TV.

Google Drive is better because I can download it at home where my WiFi is fast and then watch it anywhere. Streamable wouldn’t be bad if it weren’t for the fact that when the video is full-screen, my iPad still goes to sleep as per usual after the set time (unlike full-screen videos on other websites or apps), so I always need to keep touching the screen every couple of minutes to stop that from happening.
