I have no idea how she got a role in this movie franchise as her performances are the worst I have seen since Street Fighter the movie.

Hmm. Not a fan of the movie, but I think she did a pretty good job from what little I see.

I have no idea how she acted in this movie, since I'd never watched it, but I have seen her pull of a perfectly decent performance in the movie 'Happiest Season'. Maybe it's a case of having an incompetent director who somehow managed to lower the acting ability of those taking direction from them, or she simply improved her act after doing Twilight.

Agreed she's horribleeee here HOWEVER, whe did a INCREDIBLE job as Princess Diana in Spencer. Like mind-blowingly great job!!

Yeah, a lot of people didn’t like her acting when these films released… I think kinda all round this franchise doesn’t show off any of the actors true potential. On the one hand Bella is meant to be super awkward so she may have played into that too much. Maybe it was a director decision to amp up the awkwardness… but I do know that some of the projects she’s done since this franchise she has really blown out the water and received a lot of critical acclaim for! So that could be from growing as an actor, having better material or better directors! Maybe all three! But she’s definitely not considered a bad actress these days!

Lol. Yes the movie was really2 bad. I remember watching it because the movie was so hyped back then. I watched like halfway through and I couldn't go any further. It was just that bad.

No doubt she’s grown as an actor. But she actually did a wonderful job in a movie called “Speak” that was before “Twilight.” I know that Robert Pattinson hated being in those movies. I’m guessing it’s hard to act with that, especially with her going home to him at night and listening to him rant about it.

Have not watched twilight so she may be horrible in these movies :P but, She was amazing as Joan Jett in the movie about "The Runaways" and she was really good in a movie called "speak".
