My wife recently informed me that the movie has received tremendous praise from fans, while certain movie critics, despite their desperate and negative approach, have been criticizing it for its perceived lack of diversity. It's frustrating enough to make me wish for a swift punch in the nuts. This is precisely why people often prefer watching and listening to individuals like myself, who immerse themselves in various genres of movies on a daily basis. I have wholeheartedly dedicated myself to consuming movies and TV series regularly, aiming to connect with viewers like you at home. In essence, we all possess the qualities of discerning movie critics and excel at it.

I have started distrusting the critics many many years ago. They don't watch the movie to enjoy it. Only to post their articles and justify the work they are doing. On sites with ratings I mostly check the public ratings. I admit wholeheartedly I discriminate against critics! Have been for ages.

Several "movie critics" that I work with were crapping all over this when the first teaser trailer came out. "Chris Pratt sounds like Chris Pratt!" He could not have done the "Mario" voice, without being "canceled" for it. Shit like that will drive the use of AI for voicing animation.

I agree! I thought it was wonderful

i liked the idea that the "Mario italian voice" was only used as his character in the commercials and he switched out of it for the "Real world"

I don't even think that I knew that a movie was even made, not until I saw this post.

I defer to Anton Ego's final speech from 'Ratatouille' on the nature of critics.
