I'm glad you like it, and hate to speak ill of the fans, but there's been a full-on plague, with at least nine reactors I've seen in the last week--yes, WEEK--fan-bullied into watching Squid Game, and unfortunately, the K-word explains a lot: Fans of Korean music, movies and TV are recognized infamous "trolls" on the Internet, not for throwing insults around (at least, not at first), but for opportunistically never missing one single advertising opportunity to jam fanboy references to K-drama and pop group BTS into every single discussion they come across, demanding everyone who listen become new fans, and then organizing masses of flame-war zealots to Internet-harass critics with shouts of "Racism" and "American cultural fascism" if some naive innocent poster tells them to sit down, be quiet and stop posting off-topic spam. The not-so-unspoken rule on the Internet is DO NOT ENGAGE a K-fan, for any reason, in any context, in any situation, period--Walk away from one immediately on contact, or you will letting a hundred evil genies out of one very small bottle.
