The only possible reason Twin Peaks got such a low vote is the generation gap between the people who've actually SEEN it in their lives. Kids, rent, now. It's on streaming.

Yeah sadly it became a "your dads favorite show", or "show that few art school student still watches". However Lynch contributed a lot to its downfall by not being able to finish it with dignity. Not saying that 2nd half of season 2 was bad or anything, but sure it was disoriented.
